Here at the Little Dipper we love the great outdoors!  We are based out of Newfoundland and Labrador, where nature is abundant and outdoor activity is not only recreation, but a way of life.  We incorporate environmentally friendly practices into our operations where ever we can, in our packaging policy, our invoicing, selecting organic, natural products where possible and working with only conscientious, respected manufacturers and companies.

We are a home based, family run business.  The idea for the Little Dipper came shortly after the birth of our first son, Brayden.  Our family lives in Labrador, and outdoor adventure is part of our daily routine.  I did not want to be confined to the house with our Baby, I wanted to share our love of the outdoors with him, and make him a part of our outdoor activities. After a few months I was getting frustrated trying to find quality outdoor children's products, the things that I needed to take a small child along with me on the trail. To ensure his comfort I wanted outerwear for him, equivalent to what I, myself would wear on an outing, and I also needed the appropriate gear to be able to take him. This proved to be quite a task!  So I decided to create a place for families like ours, where you can find all you need to get outside and enjoy the fresh air together.

Quality is important to us at the Little Dipper. We test out all of our gear with real life parents before it ever makes in onto the Little Dipper website.  We promise to always offer you only the best products!  If we wouldn't trust it for our own children, we certainly wouldn't offer it to you for your children.
